On November 2, 2015, with the approval of the State Council, the Nanning Bonded Logistics Center temporarily under the administration of Nanning High-tech Zone was officially transformed and upgraded into Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone, with a total planned area of 2.37 square kilometers, divided into two blocks. Connected by closed overhead bridges, it mainly develops bonded processing, bonded logistics, bonded services and other businesses. Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone implements closed management, and after passing the acceptance inspection, it enjoys the relevant tax and foreign exchange management policies of the current comprehensive bonded zone. On December 22, 2009, Nanning Bonded Logistics Center passed the formal acceptance of the national joint acceptance team to realize customs closure operation. However, the previous single bonded logistics function fails to meet the development requirements. This successful upgrading not only consolidates the status of Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone as the largest "dry port" in Southwest China, but also boosts the rapid development of Nanning's export-oriented economy.

  China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) is the third international park jointly built by the Chinese government and foreign government. With the strong support of the governments of China and Malaysia, the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) and the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP) have jointly opened up a new model of international cooperation of "two countries, twin parks" and are the advanced exploration and active practice that serves the country's "Belt and Road" construction and promote international production capacity cooperation with industrial parks as carriers, further enriching the content of the upgraded version of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. The park closely revolves around the strategic positioning of "making Qinzhou and Kuantan industrial parks a flagship project for investment cooperation between China and Malaysia and a demonstration zone for China-ASEAN cooperation" proposed by President Xi Jinping, and takes serving the construction of new international land-sea trade corridor , and building a China-ASEAN open cooperation and innovation pilot zone and build an important fulcrum for the integrated development of Beibu Gulf in Guangxi as its main goals. In accordance with the deployment requirements of Guangxi to build a "pioneering park for reform and innovation in Guangxi", by adhering to "seeking rapid development from scratch but from a high starting point", CMQIP works together with the Malaysian partners, focusing on attracting investment and project construction, and jointly promoting reform and innovation, party building and social management, so the cooperation of "two countries, twin parks" has been further advanced, and various tasks have been carried out in an orderly manner. After several years of hard work, the 7.87-square-kilometer start-up area of the park with preliminary work in basic construction ready and with the convenience of so-called "settlement upon arrival" for industrial and urban projects. By the end of 2015, the park's goal of “building foundation in three-year" was basically achieved and In 2016, it entered a new stage of "achieving results in five years". 

  The layout of industrial projects in the start-up area is basically completed. The park actively serves the overall China-Malaysia cooperation. Guided by the promotion of international production capacity cooperation, it focuses on promoting the establishment of projects in biomedicine, electronic information, equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials and ASEAN's traditional advantageous industries. As of now, there are more than 380 registered companies. More than 10 large-scale High-tech projects with development prospects have been put into operation one after another, such as Xindeli Optoelectronics (Phase 1), Kelly Digital (Phase 1), Huibaoyuan Biomedicine, Keyi New Energy (Phase 1), Zhongdong Technology, Tianhao Biology, UNIZ 3D Printing, etc.  Breakthroughs have been achieved in the layout of major projects. For example, a number of strategic emerging industry projects have settled down and plan to start construction such as Guangxi Taijia 7.5-generation ultra-thin glass substrate production line with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, the CAWMCC International Cold Chain and Halal Industry Base with a total investment of 7 billion yuan, and the Chuan(Sichuan)-Gui(Guangxi) Industrial Park with a total investment of more than 2 billion yuan. In terms of traditional advantageous industries, Gangqing Oil has achieved normal production; 10 bird's nest processing enterprises have completed project renovation; 12 bird's nest processing enterprises are waiting to enter the park, and agreement has been reached with the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative to jointly build a halal industry zone. 

  The construction of functional supporting projects in the park has been fully launched. With the continuous increase in investment in infrastructure and supporting facilities, projects such as the Electronic Information Industrial Park, China-Malaysia International Science and Technology Park, Smart IoT Industrial Park, Bird’s Nest Processing and Trade Base, National Bird’s Nest Laboratory, and Youth Apartments have been put into use. Supporting service projects such as Internet creation and education space, mangrove resettlement community, urban complex with office buildings, hotels, commercial housings and shopping centers, primary and secondary schools, and expert apartments have been basically completed. In the past two years, 29 industrial and urban supporting projects will be completed or will be under construction. In another two years or so, a new modern international industrial city will rise along the Beibu Gulf. 

  The development and construction model of the park has basically taken shape. The park has accelerated the construction of a capital-oriented development model, actively implemented the capitalization strategy of financial funds, and enlarged the leverage effect of financial funds through the establishment of industrial direct investment funds, equity investment funds, urban construction funds, etc. The park focuses on building a Trade Finance Market (TFM ), promote the development of high-tech, light assets and modern service industries. Oriented by planning the construction of a new generation of international and innovative parks, the park is speeding up the improvement of the park planning system and cooperating with the Suzhou Industrial Park Planning and Design Institute to strengthen the park planning management. The park has implemented the pilot reform of Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) to promote the standardized development of the construction market. It has actively explored the management model of statutory institutions by promoting the practice of "park affairs handled in the park", and deepened the reform of the personnel performance management system to accelerate the construction of talent highlands. The park has also established and improved the park's state-owned assets management system and promoted the innovation in the profit model of the Sino-Malaysian joint ventures. It has explored a new model of land acquisition, relocation and resettlement with the concept of joint construction and sharing, deepened the cooperation mechanism of "two countries and twin parks", promoted international production capacity cooperation, and established a closer working arrangement for the "two parks". The park has actively strengthened and improved the party’s development and created a clean and positive governance in the park. After several years of hard work, it has made some initial achievements, and now is striving to build the park into a "flagship project for investment cooperation between China and Malaysia" and a "China-ASEAN cooperation demonstration zone".

Guangxi - ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone, located 30 kilometers in the north of Nanning City, is adjacent to the famous Daming Mountain Scenic Spot in Guangxi, covering an area of 180 square kilometers. It is surrounded by mountains and water, rich in resources, thriving in all industries, and featured by the style of overseas Chinese. As an emerging industrial town in the north of Nanning, it is one of the three major national development zones in Nanning, an important carrier of the China-ASEAN Expo, a key industrial park in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and a national demonstration pilot park of transformation toward circular economy,  one of the largest overseas Chinese farms in China and the key contact unit of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.    

The area of tourism and health industry has a planned area of 27 square kilometers. Relying on the natural ecological resources and the advantages of food, biomedicine and other industries of the development zone, it will focus on developing emerging business forms such as the big health, elderly care, leisure tourism, etc., and vigorously promote the construction of a modern service industry cluster in Guangxi, attracting the settlement of the Taihe Pure Land, the comprehensive tourism and senior care service industry project with an investment of 10.7 billion yuan, which integrates tourism, ecological agriculture, forestry, culture, health care, senior care, and medical care. The project has been identified as one of the first batch of “Health Care and Senior Care Towns" in Guangxi, and the first phase of the project has officially opened to the public.  

Nanning Education Park (the west area), with a planned area of 19 square kilometers, has introduced in 11 universities and colleges including Guangxi Minzu University, Xiangsihu College of GuangXi Minzu University, Bowen School of Management of Guilin University of Technology, Guangxi International Business Vocational College, and Guangxi College for Preschool Educaton. There is a public vocational skills training base in the park with a total investment of 1 billion yuan in the education park, which will be built into an international multi-functional public service platform integrating vocational skills training evaluation, competition, communication, industry-university-research integration. Efforts will be made to build an educational resource concentration area on the basis of the cooperation with  more than 30 existing colleges such as Guangxi Vocational College of Water Resources and Electric Power, Guangxi Economic Vocational College, Guangxi Press and Publishing Technical College, etc. At the same time, we have also carried out strategic cooperation with the Greenland Group, a Fortune 500 company, focusing on improving the basic supporting facilities of the education park, enhancing the industrial carrying capacity of the park, and promoting the integration of industrial and urban development so as to help the north of Nanning be a highlight of the city. The modern agricultural demonstration area, with a planned area of 88 square kilometers, relies on the strengths brought by the "two academies and three offices" (Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangxi Academy of Fishery Sciences, Research Institute, Guangxi General Office of Agricultural Technology Promotion, Guangxi General Office of Sericulture Promotion , and Guangxi General Office of Technical Guidance for Fruit Production ) that have settled in Science and technology resources. At present, Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone has built 5 characteristic agricultural modernization demonstration zones. In the future, efforts will be made to create a modern agricultural technology innovation highland a highland for agricultural science and technology talents, and a modern agricultural tourism resort based in Guangxi and oriented toward ASEAN, .
